Blyth
Festival, Summer 2003
The Golden Heifers
This mock-awards show was
hosted by Crazy Jamie and the Blyth Technical Crew, with much
irreverence & debauchery & good-humour. I got a Golden
Heifer (a bottle of Steeles beer spray-painted gold) for best
costume in Hippie – in the nude scene!

Globe
Theatre, Fall 2003
Proof Opening Night We’re
smiling pretty extremely, here. And, if I can recall, we celebrated
extremely too! What a great show, what a wonderful cast (they
are shown here – Jackie Francis, myself, John Dolan, Jeff
Lawson) & director. And boy do we look happy!

Globe
Theatre, Fall 2003
Proof Closing Night Stealing
a quiet moment to talk to (Artistic Director) Ruth Smillie on
closing night. The staff at the Globe put a lot of heart into
the opening and closing receptions – it’s great
to be given a night to say proper goodbye’s to all the
great folk you just got to know at a theatre.

Rideau
Hall, Fall 2001
Meeting Canada’s Governor General, Adrienne Clarkson
Jeffrey Wetsch & I had only just arrived as part of the
Stratford Conservatory, when David Latham asked us to perform
a scene from ‘Taming of the Shrew’ at this function,
alongside Cynthia Dale & Christopher Plummer. A great honour,
very exciting. Highlights: the G.G.’s perfume (sooooo
beautiful), and meeting playright Ian Ross, a soul brother.
